The provinces in the Mekong Delta exported 670,000 tons of rice in the first two months of 2013, generating $304 million in revenue – an 18 percent increase in value compared to the same period last year.
Asia is the region’s largest market, with 65 percent of consumption, followed by America, Africa, Europe and Oceania.
