The Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP), has published a briefing today that shows a large majority of the world’s whitefish, including over 88% of the cod landed, come from sustainable and well-managed fisheries.
The briefing covers the most recent assessment period for which comparable data is available, as of October 2012, and covers 51 principal whitefish fisheries around the world.
